Great price to portion ratio, good friendly service and the food was a good quality. We had the shrimp lo mein and Dinner Combo of Chicken Wings, Boneless Ribs, Fried Rice and Egg Foo Young and ate off it for 2 days. A solid little takeout spot. View all feedback.
What derwin phillips doesn't like about New Hong Kong Village:
Portions were relatively small compared to other Asian restaurants I've visited. I had black pepper beef with rice and the total was over $13. When I got it, it looked like a kids menu. Oh well, live and learn. View all feedback.
Great food at a great price. The service is fast and easy going. HKV is a west Medford classic!
It is uncommon for us to have a disappointing meal, but unfortunately, my chicken teriyaki was very dry and the sweet and sour chicken fingers were overcooked.
I believe that the cooking oil used at this restaurant has spoiled. I felt sick the day after dining here.
This was possibly the worst fast food I have ever ordered. The egg roll tasted terrible, the orange chicken was bland and limp, the fried rice was cold and unappetizing, and the boneless ribs were also awful. Save your money and buy a frozen meal from the grocery store instead - it would be better than this food. I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my money. We couldn't even finish a single plate of food.
Hong king village is a take out place. The price is very fair. I will go with cantonese food on the menu for sure. The chinatown dishes are pretty good. The spicy chicken dish is my favorite. Wanton soup is really good. For good value of food, HK definitely offer that. It was a surprise for my family when we tried the food. We have been there quite often because of my kid’s swimming classes.
