This place reminds me of the small-time hamburger diners before the big take out and drive thru chains took over. The hamburgers taste the same as they did back then and Johnny owners awesome the milkshakes are fantastic and the prices are amazing. It's a very nostalgic place from a completely different time.

No idea how she passed the health inspection. It's cash only so she handles cash all day and makes the food with bare hands and I've never seen her wash. The place was probably great 15-30 years ago. But it's slow and gross now but it's cheap. My 8 month pregnant wife went in with our 2 yr/old trying to get a cup of water. Only cash she had was 25¢. The lady was super reluctant to give it to her because it costs 50¢. It was 95° outside...

Simply meet one of my favorite Hamburger joints in the city for its nostalgic appeal and great tasty hamburgers. If you want something like that, this is definitely the place. They also have amazing shakes that I would recommend to everyone to try.

I love this place. It is the best CREAMIEST SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM!!! It also really tastes, and the ice cream manufacturer is old-fashioned, all in this place is (but don't worry, it's well kept and very clean! . I always went there with my family when we lived closer. The owner, Joan, and her husband had this fast food place for a while, actually, a very long time. Since 1970. Joan sometimes says she closes 4 because she is too exhausted and runs down; but she's a real sweet lady. She also turns off her ice machine BEFORE 4 (approx. 3:45, if you plan on running, go earlier. She must know my family and I'm pretty good for a while, she likes to look grums first, but understand her frustration. Make sure you speak, not too quiet, and make your order clear, nothing complicated. This place is so old-fashioned and welcoming! Absolutely! Great prices too!

Since 1997 we have come here. At that time it was for lunch at High School, now take my children big place for a burger and a shake! Very recommended
