Wajaca - Medellín

The aromen are all of the salsa, which goes with the chips to the escape themselves. Perhaps this is an idea of Colombian meaning, which should be Mexican eating, but it is definitely not Mexican eating.

After waiting for the wait for the waiter with three young, hungry and tired children we order to eat. mins later the manager tells us that eating will not be less than mins. btw restaurant is mexican, it is tacos and quesadillas!. how long will it take to melt? effectiw mins later total ca. an hour after arrival at restuarant

Eating is quite good, but the place is extremely expensive, careful order supplements, portions are extremely small

I ordered the enchiladas like I usually do at Mexican restaurants in the US. They weren't anything special, but they weren't bad either. They were OK. I haven't found a great Mexican restaurant in Medellin, so I guess OK isn't so bad. I don't rule...out coming back here.

Just wandering through the restaurant mall above our favorite Medellin grocery store today and decided to try this. We too spent many years in Colorado and love its green chili sauces. But I loved the tamarind chipotle sauce at Wajaca (and purchased two bottles to bring home). Guacamole was excellent. Flautas reminded me of Colorado style. We arrived just before lunch hour rush and had good service even though there were two huge groups. We will be back!
