Montaditos S.A.S. - Medellín

This is one of the nicer places to eat in this small mall in San Lucas - an neighborhood a bit above and to the South of Poblado in Medellin. I wouldn't consider it a "destination restaurant" but if you're in the neighborhood, this is a very good option. There are a ton of different tapas (three or four bite finger food) available. However, YOU DO NEED TO SPEAK SPANISH, or you won't have a clue what you're ordering. I do speak Spanish, and still had some questions. Just try stuff - I had 6 different tapas and they were all outstanding. Salmon, Turkey, Beef, etc... No - THEY don't speak English. You're in Colombia.

Food is delicious, you can share with friends, family or your date ! The place is good to talk and great location. Buen lugar para compartir con amigos, familia o tu pareja. La comida es muy rica y la gente muy amable y atenta ;)

I have gone to other restaurants of the same franchise, but the service in this one was terrible. Several times we had to order the drinks because they never arrived. When it was time for the food they only delivered part of the original order and didn't mind that they didn't complete the order. The food tastes good but the service is horrible.

Small yet very nice location. Came on a Sat night, group of six. The crew was fast to get a table set up and quickly got us a great recommendation to start: a small selection of tapas to share and a Lychee sangria to share. Then, with no rush, we took on the task to decide which of the 30+ different montaditos (small combinations of toppings served on French baguette slices)... Not an easy task. We ended up ordering some 20 different types, not a single one we thought was disappointing. Oh, they do offer few beers, however, I liked their selection of Colombian craft beer.Great outing, good food and drinks, and good price!
