With a name that evokes a passed era of medellin culture, and a fusion of local and world flavors this is the place to go. Very well decorated, attentive staff, good music and company made this a fine dinning experience. My only suggestion is that it deserves a better sound system than it currently has. What User doesn't like about Junin Bar:
This is a cool place right now in Medellin with lota of young people go. If you go for have a drink is ok but if you want to take something for food is not so good. The food is nothing special and the music volume is so high that is quite impossible to hear people next to you View all feedback.
The restaurant was recommended by Hotel Concierge. We didn't know what to order from the menu, because everything is in Spanish, but we can order the jumpers with crab and shrimp and stew chicken and rice. Food was very... fantasy. The server was very friendly and tried hard to communicate with us because it does not speak English.
Nice open restaurant. Excellent food especially the seafood dishes and beef Buddha bowl. The staff was helpful and enthusiastic
On the 2nd Floor in trendy Pablato, this super cool restaurant was the perfect night out for our last day in Medellin. Loved every dish the 4 of us shared: from spring rolls to fish tacos and beautifully presented salmon, each lovingly prepared and artistically...presented. Dessert was exceptional- we polished off the dulce de Lechner volcano with vanilla ice cream so quickly we had to order a second. Service was outstanding and prices very reasonable.
The environment is great, local music (mostly reggaeton) and local people. We had a couple of drink and it was just OK. The menu is Colombian food. I am not sure I will go back to the place.
This restaurant is very attractive in appearance and we ate outside on the terrace. The restaurant was very crowded and popular and we didn’t mind waiting at their bar 10 minutes for our table. The bartender was very accommodating and it was fun watching her...make different drinks. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about their position in the restaurant. The waiter suggested us a delicious appetizer to share. Then a main course just arrived. My companion had salmon and I have the tuna. I would mitt that my tuna tasted a little fishy and have a fishy smelling aroma. Not overwhelming. But I wasn’t enjoying it. The waiter could tell that I wasn’t really eating my mail and he asked me if he could change my main entrée for something I would rather eat. The restaurant manager came over to our table to apologize for me not enjoying the tuna and she suggested another entrée is very popular with locals here in Medellín and it was superb. Even though I was for toward the end of eating that play, I couldn’t quit eating and I ate it all. This definitely a restaurant to return to over and over again. I sincerely care about the clients to eat with them and it seems like the staff get along very well and everything runs smoothly here. Of course they did not charge me for the tuna and the even gave us a little bit of a discount off of our bill, which is something I didn’t expect and was very surprised for even that much more hospitable welcome. If you decide to eat here, I think you’ll really enjoy it.
