Ginkgo Restaurante - Medellín

Excelente lugar, comida vegana totalmente casera, llena de sabor y combinada con buena atención. Funciona de lunes a sábado. Todos los días tienen un menú para el almuerzo, diferente y económico. También tienen platos diferentes como hamburguesa, arroz chino y tamal. Ahora tienen servicio de café y panadería en las tardes. Los jueves hacen un plato de cazuela de frijoles, también tienen un menú suave para los que no quieren frijoles.

We stayed in the city centre and eat here for lunch 3 times during our stay. We had great lunches both full and satisfied. For 11,000COP you get a fresh juice, hearty soup, main plate and a small desert; simply enough to leave you with a sweet taste in your mouth. The dish of the day changes every day like the soup. Soups were delicious. Juices could have done with a little sweetener if I was honest, but were fresh and healthy. I would definitely recommend this place as a lunch place for anyone looking for a healthy option at a very good price while in the city centre.

Well, here you get a vegan meal, so this is nice in a country where vegetarian options are rare. I went to Ginkgo today and had the daily menu for 10,000 COP. The food was definitely healthy and reasonably delicious. For 10,000 COP... (in the top menu price), I expect more. I got a very delicious bean soup, a slightly watery juice, and a small piece (more two crumbs) of a cake as a dessert. The Segundo (main dish) was a little disappointing as it contained a small salad, a piece of avocado and a bit of rice (see picture below). All in all, food could be evaluated as an average value.

Servicio excelente, ambiente acogedor, platos excelentes.

La comida es deliciosa y el servicio es excelente... ¡Recomendado! El ajiaco es exquisito.
