El Mercado del Rio - Medellín

What a great place to do many things depending on the mood your in. From a nice cup of coffee to a wide variety of wines and dishes of all sorts. The ambiance is soothing in the afternoon just ideal for a coworking session and on weekend nights this place turns into a real social club gathering the ‘cream butter’ of the city.

Peru Mix Cocina in Mercados del Río. Good food very clean and very well prepared. Staff was awesome and food was made with good quality condiments. Very good spot for a fast meal when on the run. Highly recommended inside this food mall hat has so many options.

Whilst visiting the food market Mercado del Rio, I ordered from la Cocina de Mama a Colombian food vendor. This was my first lunch in Colombia so I wasn't totally sure what to get, but settled with meat and fries plus a cheesy side. The food and service was great. Mercado del Rio itself had a number of amazing looking vendors, as well as a great setup for drinks and sport with a massive television.

Amazing range of options, including a few vegetarian options. It’s never been too crowded when I went, on weekend afternoons, so the atmosphere is comfortable.
