The food here is amazing. I write reviews, but they definitely deserve a hidden gem. I went back three times in a row! Do not let the appearance fool you make them with cheap prices and good food
I just tried their three freshly prepared cervicals and my guests agreed it was delicious. I will try their fried fish tablets with rice, salad and plantains at the next visit. On weekends, the crowd is mainly local Colombians who know fresh seafood and good values! Be sure to hallo to Jorge, the proud owner!
The red snapper is unbelievably good, it tastes like everything KFC wishes it could be. We spent a week in Medellin and didn't have better food than the red snapper. We just got back to Medellin after a week in the Caribbean too, all we wanted was the red snapper again. The coconut rice is unreal good too, in the Caribbean it's brown and has an almost molasses flavor, here it's white and coconutty delicious. Hands down my favorite find in Medellin!
The food was ok. The price was disappointing. I ate shrimp with sauce, coconut rice, green plantain and salad and it was 50,000 pesos. The don’t have a physical menú. So you don’t know the price of your dinner until you finish and ask for the check and SURPRISE!!! You can eat better quality of food for less in more fancy restaurants in town.
