Bracos - Medellín

A week ago, I visited my family in Medellin. I was told that I should check this place from a friend, it was not disappointed! The food was very delicious and different. I took my mother and she didn't leave anything at the level. She had the original and I had the solomito. We also had to drink maracuya and mint, so refreshing and delish! Will be back the next time I'm in town!!!

We stumbled over this small restaurant and were helped by the cook and the staff to translate the menu. Do not expect the collection of unique flavors that they combine to offer an absolutely delicious meal. We went back the next day to eat again, but they were not open....alas, the cook saw us and actually made us another great meal. Gracias! One of our best meals in Colombia!

I lived in Medellin for 6 months and ate in many restaurants in the city (by Medellin and Envigado). Bracos has hands down the best food you will taste throughout the city. The atmosphere, the appetizers and the food are all absolutely amazing. I literally came back at least once every two weeks and made sure that every friend who visited me also tried. My favorite is the Bracos Mogav with beef tenderloin, but regardless of the Braco you choose, you will not be disappointed. The food is cooked to perfection, juicy and tastefully. I think of eating as a craft Pitas, but definitely the best Pita/sandwich I ever tried in my life (no exaggeration). The staff is also very welcoming. Also make sure you taste the watermelon-based drink (Sandía macerada con menta y limón) or the strawberry-based drink (Fresa Macerada en romero y albahaca). They won't regret it.
