Decoration, open spaces, the fact that they prepare food in a table on the middle of the room, fussion food, quite atmosphere make it an unique spot. The only downside is that it is on a second floor of an apartments building and it is...only open until 8 pm. View all feedback.
What Guillaume Lauzon doesn't like about Amaranto Pan Artesano:
Don't go for lunch. To what they give you and not good. Slow service. The bread was decent... not to write at home, but the most decent I tasted in Medellin, so I might say for breakfast or a tea break when you're here, otherwise not here. The place is cool and they have San Pellegrino so much time for a drink.
I didn't rate them with 5 stars because it was very hard to get from them a quote for an event I wanted to make in the restaurant. The lady responsible promised several times that she would send us the quote, but not. We always had to remind them and practically ask them. Apart from that, the place is great, and the service in the restaurant is excellent.
Excellent juices and coffee drinks. Pastries range from good to excellent. The Pastel Gloria itself, which is missed as a blend on the menu, is worth the trip. A bit expensive by Colombian standards. It can be hard to find it on the...2. floor of a residential building.
Visitors will enjoy really delicious home made bread. There are many types to try. They also offer healthy salads, soup and gourmet dishes. It is a silent place where people can have a nice coversation. The environment is really warm. Good service. All ingredients are...fresh. Prices are fair.
The food and the service are both outstanding, it had been a while since I ate something so good in Medellín. The terrace is nice and spacious and overall the open air is great in Medellin's weather. The only complaint I have is we got charged for things that were supposedly included in the Brunch menu, two orange juices and a plate of bread, wich considering the restaurant is not particularly cheap did add up. So definitely go, but check your receipt before paying.
