After a visit to the castle Satzvey we visited the fourth place in the beer garden of the Senfmühle on September 19, 2020. The first thing we had noticed was the dirty benches and tables. We wipe our table first with a damp cloth, but the bench on the wall of the house urgently needed a basic cleaning. In itself a very beautiful place in the shade under the canopy overlooking the burghof, but it should be clean. Although the place was not very visited, it took a long time to place our order. Unfortunately, two orders were not brought as we did. Instead of a small salad came a large and instead of bread with herbs cucumber came bread with herbal butter. The service was very nice and tried to complain. Even the food tasted very good! That's why I can award 3 stars, otherwise the rating would be worse. Because cleanliness, timely operation are served in a moderately visited place at the time and the food that was ordered is already basic things. I am aware that gastronomy is always a daily fight for excellence. However, this has not been won today. All good for the mustard mill, but here must be updated so that the next visit remains in good memory.

Hello, as I am writing a negative criticism, I would like to evaluate the SiIvesterparty in the Senfmühle so that the concept can possibly be revised. The price of EUR 65 per person (around EUR 20 per person) is fine, but what has not been offered to you. The buffet had only 2 hot dishes, liver cheese and a kind of pig neck steak, which was equipped with too much rubbery tendons. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't like pork, so the buffet was just cold. For 45 euros unfortunately very weak. In addition, the fact that at a maximum of 100 people only 5 tables were built (place for 4 to max. 6 pers. per table) and it was immediately clear that you have to eat in standing (and holding on hand). I'm sorry, but that's what you know from a snack bar, and not from a New Year's restaurant. If the capacities were not sufficient, it would have been possible to build up a heated area or, at least in this respect, to place a note on the SiIvester offer, so that you are informed about this situation in advance. Only the very nice staff is to be highlighted here, which is why I forgive 2 instead of 1 star. MfG
