Sapporo East is a charming and cozy sushi and hibachi restaurant. The staff members are extremely friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. What User doesn't like about Sapporo East:
I’m really disappointed. I've been a loyal fan of Sapporo East for 20 years and have rarely had a bad meal, so I can only assume that Henry must be on vacation. I ordered the coconut shrimp, and it was seriously overcooked and tough. I also got the house special roll, but the avocado was overripe and there was way too much of it, cut into thick pieces. The sushi was exceptional, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was decent—somewhat small and dimly lit, and parking was limited. However, it was still an enjoyable sushi destination. Rating: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.

The best sushi in town! Always fresh with excellent service. It’s a BYOB spot, and even after 10 years, the quality and service remain outstanding. Price per person: $20–30. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Highly recommended dishes include the Lobster Tail Roll, Rainbow Roll, Japanese Crab Cake, Fire Roll, and Sapporo Roll.
