I visited Red Lobster again last night and used OpenTable to secure our preferred seating, but there was actually no wait at 7:45. We were promptly taken to a booth. As usual, the food was excellent—hot and flavorful. The portions were large, so we typically only eat half and take the rest home. The service was fantastic and attentive. What User doesn't like about Red Lobster Mechanicsburg:
the service was very slow. 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food after starters. very disappointed by the quality of food. my lobster was obviously under the heat lamp and I took the largest part of my steak home for my dogs. my man said that eating on the admiral feast tasted as if everything were fried in the same fat. we were looking forward to a good eating with seafood, but that was obviously not the place. My lobster tail had obviously been under the heat lamp and I took most of my steak home for my dogs. My husband said the food on the Admirals Fiest tasted like it was all fried in the same grease. We were looking forward to a good seafood dinner but this was obviously not the place.
One of the diners in our party had to send her fried clams and Cocoanut shrimp back as both dishes were over cooked. A request for a second serving of biscuits had to be repeated twice before they arrived at the end of the meal. Overall, pretty disappointing.
