Awesome BBQ with fast, friendly service. The menu features your classic BBQ with a good selection of sauces and sides. Pricing is about what you'd expect for the quality, more than Mission BBQ but the value is better. It's the best BBQ I've found in central PA! View all feedback.
What George A doesn't like about Momo Bbq Co:
The gentleman on the register was very helpful polite. The food was lukewarm. The bread was cold.If they just heat up the food a little bit and give you a warm roll of bread would have been the perfect lunch.I'm not sure why they didn't offer letters, tomato, mayonnaise on the sandwich or whatever was kind of dry but okay. Loved MoMo's when it was a restaurant in Harrisburg this place is not the same. Brisket and chicken were so dry that even adding sauce didn't help. Sides were all average nothing to rave about.
Thank you for renewing my faith in PA bbq. I ordered bbq the night before from another spot in Mechanicsburg and was so disappointed, I couldn't even eat. You were right the road from my hotel, so I decided to give you a try I'm glad I did. The rub on the tender baby backs was perfect. I tried the Mango Halbanoro sauce, Damn!
Stopped by to pick up lunch it was on a Saturday morning shortly after they opened for the day, I have never been here before I was expecting this to be fresh and tasty However that was definitely not what I received.1 meal with 2 meats pulled chicken and brisket corn bread side of cheesy Mac applesaucePulled pork sandwichBrisket sandwich2meal was with brisket and pulled pork luau beans potato salad corn breadBrisket was dried out in every container and I received only 1 pc in the sandwich cut in half, pulled pork was not as dry and barely covered the bun. Cole slaw was in a 2oz sample cupMy sides are what really threw me they charge a lot for very little 4oz styrofoam container that is how all the sides came.I even had to laugh at the speck of corn bread givenThis is an expensive and disappointing lunch if you are going to do smoked bbq please dont serve dried out product, it felt like I received yesterday's leftovers and then charge me as if it was freshly made. The focus seemed to be on a catering job for the day as I had to repeat my order 5x. Focus on your in store customer talk about the catering job after the guest has left with their order.Very unprofessionalDo not recommendWill
Absolutely amazing BBQ! I have had and prepared BBQ many time. Momo's is elite BBQ that will stand up to any pitmaster anywhere!
I ordered a meal that included pulled chicken and brisket, with a side of cheesy mac and applesauce, as well as a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich. Another meal featured brisket and pulled pork, along with luau beans, potato salad, and cornbread. The brisket was dry in every container, and the sandwich only contained one small piece, cut in half. The pulled pork was slightly better but barely covered the bun. To top it off, the cole slaw was served in a tiny 2oz sample cup. The sides really surprised me; they were all served in 4oz Styrofoam containers, and I felt the portions were far too small for the high prices. I even had to chuckle at the minuscule piece of cornbread given. Overall, this was an expensive and disappointing lunch. If you're going to serve smoked BBQ, please avoid serving dry products; it felt like I was served yesterday's leftovers, yet charged as if everything was freshly made. The staff seemed more focused on a catering job than on in-store customers, as I had to repeat my order five times. They should prioritize in-store service before discussing catering. I found the overall experience quite unprofessional and would not recommend this place.
