Drop in every couple of weeks for lunch. Always receive a very warm welcome. Very good menu with pub staples mixed with more interesting choices. All cooked fresh and very well executed. Easily the best for miles around. Good selection of lagers and ales. Taylors landlord is definitely well looked after. Wheelchair accessibility: Low entry from rear carpark with 1 step. Great food and service. Would recommend for informal dining

Called in for Sunday lunch, family good choice of either steak and ale pie, cottage pie or Roast. Beef, gammon or pork loin The beef, pork loin, roast potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and pie were all very good but the veggies needed a bit longer on the boil. I like my weg al dente, but these were a bit hard for my liking. Over all I would recommend this pub for Sunday lunch, or any other occasion. The staff are very helpful. We will go again. Parking: Parking is to the right of the pub and round the back. Limited space available.
Ok a bit pricey, good bear Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
