What User doesn't like about Valenza:
We ordered 3 to go pasta entrees and a cheese pizza. Two of us ordered angel hair pasta with garlic oil and added shrimp and mushrooms on one and shrimp and brocolli on the other there was hardly any garlic and oil on them. The pasta was dry, I ended up pouring my Italian Wedding soup over my dry pasta to give it some flavor. There might have been 10 mushrooms on a large order, come on put some mushrooms on the pasta... The best Italian food I ate... I'd rather go back and I asked someone back very much...

Great pizza. I'm not sure why I didn't eat here earlier than last weekend, but I'm glad I finally gave them a try. Its quite identical interior and menu is quite like the previous restaurant that was here. We ordered a large deluxe thin crust pizza that came crispy and oven hot. Toppings were generous, but not overwhelming. The iced tea tasted like housebow and not weak as many places serve.
Heart warming Italian comfort food. Valenza is a casual Italian restaurant that offers what you expect: pasta, tortellini, ravioli, wedges, subways and pizza. The atmosphere is warmer and more beautiful than the typical subshop or pizza place. Tables are pretty close together, so when it gets busy, you don't have much privacy. We eat here quite often as their red sauce is very good, filled with deep flavors of a sauce that shimmers all day. They can say it is homemade, and is perfect for diving with the freshly baked bread they serve with many meals. The portions are enormous, and you always end up with a bunch of remnants. The prices are favorable for the quality and portion you receive. Our dinner bill for two adults usually runs around $25. The greens in their side salads are often old and devastated, so we go more for the soup. Valenza has a great pizza, we get the deluxe often and it is one of our favorites in the city. I'd just put it behind Chovys for best pizza in Meadville. Very limited selection of drinks and only the cheapest wines available. Overall, Valenza makes food for a nice casual sit-down dinner of Italian comfort with many tasty rests for snack the next day.
This place is great. I try to spend my lunch hour here at least once a week. The lunch specials are an amazing deal for the quality and quantity that you receive. Family friendly, but also a nice evening out with your loved one.
