Had the loaded potato, awesome. Came with a side of coleslaw, tasty. Had plenty of BBQ for the size of the potato (so many places skimp). outdoor picnic style seating was nice as long as the weather is. View all feedback.
What WD Murray doesn't like about Hickory Creek Barbecue:
Today I took an out of town guest for the beautiful fall drive to McMinnville to eat BBQ. Once we arrived it was great to see my old Buddy at Hickory Creek ,the proprietor. Not wanting to make decisions I did the no brainer, and ordered a sandwich, just tobe sure I ordered two. That was a mistake as they were so big I couldn't finish one! Quick friendly service. Good portion sizes. Really wish they had pulled chicken for BBQ nachos. The chicken leg quarter was excellent, though!
First of all, whoever ruined their five star rating is a jerk. Every time I have eaten here the barbecue is so juicy and tender. It's almost unrealistic.

Best BBQ in town. Employees are the best. You get a lot of food for your money. The homemade potato salad is awesome. Love them all
The loaded nachos are to die for. Seriously, try them.
