Feedback
Madison Deli in McLean offers consistently delicious deli food and breakfast sandwiches, with standout items like the November sandwich and onion rings. Their Royal cheesesteak might not impress Southeast PA or NJ residents, but the overall service and atmosphere make up for any shortcomings. The warm and welcoming staff, including owner David, contribute to the impeccable dining experience. From the mouthwatering executive sandwich to the bulgogi quesadillas, every dish is a hit. With tasty sweet potato fries and friendly service, Madison Deli is a must-visit spot that stands out as the best restaurant in McLean.
The food at this restaurant is incredible! It's no wonder why so many big celebrities dine here. I tried the bulgogi quesadillas and chicken melt sub, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavors are spot on and the portions are very generous. I highly suggest dining here - it's the best in the area!
I've been going there for about 20 years. I know the owner and the crew. They are all great people and it's a wonderful place to eat.
Consistently good deli food and breakfast sandwiches. The only item I find disappointing is the fries ???? The staff is always pleasant and the owner (I think) works behind the counter with them. Pictures of local teams/clubs/celebrity visitors ondisplay.
I would take the reviews about their cheesteaks with a grain of salt, especially if you 've lived in SE PA or NJ and know what good cheesesteaks look and taste like. Their Royal cheesesteak is nothing different than what you can get at Santinis Italiandeli or any other NOVA deli. Definitely would not be able to call it Royal in SE Pennsylvania or NJ. Just an averagecheesesteak on a small sub roll with more lettuce, peppers, tomato and mushrooms than meat and cheese (filled more with thecheap ingredients than with meat and cheese). I lived in SE Pennsylvania so i know what good cheesteaks look and taste like. They can call it Royal all they want but that 's just marketing mumbo jumbo, there 's nothing special about their cheesteaks insize, taste and quality.
