The food was... read more I stopped by during a road trip and discovered that the restaurant has just reopened as Whine Knot Diner. It still has the adorable Route 66 decor. The food was excellent, although there was a bit of a wait, but since they just reopened, I'm sure they'll work out the timing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It's a fantastic choice for a lunch stop along Route 66 or I-40. My dad exclaimed that his onion rings were the best he's ever had! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch.
