We chose a group, per person... read more The first time I visited Pizzateca was so-so. The food was good but the service was average. However, my last visit was incredible! We chose a group, per person, option. There was so much food on offer. It was all fantastic and they catered perfectly for the vegan guests. The table service was probably the best I've experienced in McLaren Vale. Extremely knowledgeable about the menu and options available. Even the wine. Oh.. the wine! Terrific wine on offer. We'll definitely come again and again.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan food was available. Mainly the starters. The vegan pizzas simply don't have cheese on them.

I highly recommend trying the gelato at the neighboring spot - it's to die for! The service was excellent. This is a great place for a dinner meal, with a price range of A$40-60 per person. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
