A friend who lives nearby recommended this restaurant to us, as they frequently dine there. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so reservations weren't necessary. There is a spacious deck at the back where you can unwind and enjoy a delicious meal with a glass of wine. We tried the Greek pizza with three toppings, paired with GSM wine - a fantastic combination! And the best part is that the prices are very affordable. View all feedback.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem in McLaren Flat by chance, after a recommendation from Hugo Wines. This charming spot offers delicious homemade chocolates, coffee, and desserts, as well as an art gallery.
Enjoy delicious pizzas, beautiful desserts and coffees. There were great wines. Very recommended. Thanks Ann and Stuart loved our afternoon at Pruner's hat
My boyfriend and myself ate here and the food was just divine. i wish this place was in Adelaide, i would go there regularly if it was
Found Pruners Hut today in the back roads of McLaren Flat. Its not a place you would generally stumble on unless looking for wineries. Its been open 18 months and is also a gallery with a range of artworks on display. The exhibitions change monthly....Our experience today was quite enjoyable and we just had coffee and a small fudge slice. The indoor dining area is not overly large and they have a smallish outdoor veranda with a few tables. They serve platters and cakes etc and although the offerings today were limited, their web page shows a nice range of basic food. Coffee was hot and tasted very good. The owner was extremely friendly and happy to have a chat about their business. They also sell wines made from grapes on their property. Overall it's a very pleasant place which does have some potential. My suggestions for improvements would be the following: They do have a front door but it's not that clear. When you arrive all to be seen is a small door which actually looks like the front door of a house. Need to add some signage, a path and some other appropriate welcoming paraphernalia. The veranda out back is nice but there is a lot of junk around the place piled on the deck and in the back yard. The toilet door is open and should be screened. Some landscaping and tidying up in the back yard would make it more appealing and more in line with an outdoor eating area. Also half of the deck is not covered making it unusable in summer and winter. These are only suggestions to improve the customer experience. It's very friendly and I do wish them all the best.
