The pork belly lollipops w... read more We had the good fortune of dining at this restaurant before it tragically burned down. The food and cocktails left us utterly amazed. The pork belly lollipops were incredibly tender, while my husband thoroughly enjoyed the tacos, and I was enamored with the duck dish. The service was exceptional, and this place would have been one of our favorite date night destinations. We hope they can rebuild soon!

Our server recommended a delightful bottle of Malbec to accompany our tasting experience. The meal felt like a journey through the world of flavors, with each dish standing out in its own unique way. I would never have thought to order or prepare these dishes myself, but every bite was an explosion of flavor, texture, and presentation. I'm still thinking about it two days later! Having dined at many fantastic restaurants, I rarely give 5-star reviews, but Rye deserves it for its innovative food pairings, attentive and friendly staff, and the relaxing atmosphere. If you visit Rye, be sure to try the tasting menu—you won't regret it!

The Pork Belly Lollipops are a perfect 5/5— they truly melt in your mouth! The Salmon Gow deserves a 4/5, though I wish the flour wrapper could be a bit thinner... read more The Pork Belly Lollipops are a perfect 5/5— they truly melt in your mouth! The Salmon Gow deserves a 4/5, though I wish the flour wrapper could be a bit thinner. The Vaca Frita Tacos are a delightful 5/5— simply delicious! The "Release the Quack" dish earns a remarkable 6/5; it’s the best duck we've ever had! The Three French Hens are bursting with flavor, earning a 5/5 as well. And for dessert, "To Peach Their Own" is an impressive 5/5 for its uniqueness. Brunch offerings like the chicken and grits were also delicious. Jadzia, our server, was always friendly and answered all our questions with great patience. Her knowledge of the menu is commendable—high marks for that! Just a note: there is a $10 deposit per guest for reservations in case of no-shows, which we find to be fair and not a problem at all. We can’t wait to return and try everything on the menu! We will certainly start every meal with the pork lollipops because they are that good!
