There are countless taco spots and restaurants in the DFW area, but if you haven't been to Mr. Tako in McKinney, you need to go soon! I tried the barbacoa, carnitas, and pastor tacos on flour tortillas and they were absolutely delicious. The rice was also fantastic. The tacos may be small, but they are packed with flavor. Even as a big eater, I left feeling satisfied. I will definitely be returning to Mr. Tako! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Mr. Tako:
I am a regular customer at this restaurant, but I have had two orders messed up in the past week. Not only that, I found hair in my food multiple times. When I asked for a refund because of my dissatisfaction, the owner, Moses, told me it would take 40 minutes to resolve the issue. The fried and tacos were stale and dry, and I do not recommend spending your money here. The restaurant next door has better food variety... View all feedback.
So there are something like 15,892 taco stands and restaurants in DFW (not actual number but close lol), and a lot of good ones, but if you haven’t been to Mr.Tako in Mckinney, do yourself a favor and go soon! I had beef, carnita, and pastor on flour…and they were delicious! The rice was great, as well as the refried! The tacos were small, but full of meat! I’m a big dude, and the house special filled me up! I’ll be back!
The barbacoa tacos were fantastic! My companions had the pastor, enchiladas, and taco salad, and everyone said their dishes were excellent. I can't say when I'll return to this area, but it will definitely be one of my must-visit spots when I do.
A charming little Mexican restaurant that doesn’t look like much at first glance. We tried the taco salad, chicken burrito, and a couple of street tacos, and everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area!
I've been here three times. During my first visit, I had the carnitas and hard shell beef tacos. On my second visit, I tried the flautas appetizer and the Texas nachos.
