This is a very nice tasting room tucked into a small group of shops in downtown McKinney. The wine was excellent! Last week we stopped in for a wine tasting and I had the Grey Ghost flight which gets you a taste of two of their whites and two reds. I liked them all, even their Chardonnay which I am not typically a big fan of. The Grey Ghost gets you a taste of the Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sangiovese and the Montepul... View all feedback.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lone Star Wine Cellars, and it was an absolute delight! My husband and I were on a mission to find exceptional wines, and our experience at this winery exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. Live music filled the air, and the lively crowd created an infectious energy. The staff was incredibly attentive, providing prompt and friendly service throughout our visit. We opted for the wine tasting and were treated to a fantastic selection from California, Texas, and even New Zealand! Each sip was a journey of flavors, and we couldn't help but appreciate the craftsmanship behind every glass.Although we didn't have a chance to try their food, it's worth mentioning that Lone Star Wine Cellars offers a full menu with tempting options to complement the wines. It's a perfect choice for those seeking a complete dining experience. The location itself is conveniently situated in downtown McKinney, making it easily accessible. The address is 103 E Virginia St, McKinney, TX 75069.Overall, our time at Lone Star Wine Cellars was nothing short of exceptional. We eagerly look forward to our next visit, knowing that we'll be welcomed with great wine, live music, and warm hospitality. If you're a wine lover seeking a remarkable tasting experience, don't miss out on Lone Star Wine Cellars in McKinney!#WineLoversParadise #LiveMusicVibes
Great as always! The wine, the sangria, and all the appetizers were fabulous! The live entertainment (Double Down) was outstanding! Can’t wait to see them again soon! Fun night.
The Grey Ghost gets you a taste of the Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sangiovese and the Montepulciano. I thought the Montepulciano was the best of the group, but enjoyed them all. The surroundings are super nice and the staff top notch. Go enjoy some good wines and the atmosphere here.
What an awesome place. A gem in McKinney! Great staff, super knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly and respectful. Adorable place inside and outside on their patio. Wonderful! Reasonable wine prices and the food looked delicious, even though we didn’t have any, but definitely next time. This will be one of our new places to frequent during the week and weekends. Also, they were playing 80’s music followed by live music! Great night!
Great place to enjoy some wine and friendly company. We had the 2015 RESERVE BIG RED CABERNET SAUVIGNON and it was fantastic. Service was great as well! Highly recommend.
