I have driven past this little hole in the wall for twenty years and never tried it until today. I have been missing out!!! This food was amazing...the chicken soup and pupusas were fantastic, my buddy had a torta and gave it an A . I'll definitely be back here. View all feedback.
Main takeaway: Just get the pupusas! Solo ordenen las pupusas! We got two dishes: the Salvadorean breakfast and Cheese and Chicharon pupusas. The pupusas were nice and cheesy, but lacking on the Chicharon part. The Salvadorean breakfast on the other hand... the cream we got was definitely spoiled. The beans tasted like they were left out, bitter and definitely not what I grew up eating. The platanos were flavorless and stiff. The eggs were alright. The tortillas were nice homemade ones. The place itself... was small, dark and you 're almost walking into the kitchen as you come in. There was a strong smell and it wasn 't a pleasant one... the seating area is what you 'd expect, but I feel you should be coming here to pick up and not sit down to eat.I 'd agree with another reviewer that sanitation is a concern, but I honestly didn 't care so long as the food tastes good. The food is priced well! The ladies were nice and kind. Maybe I came too early in the day or maybe it was just an off day for them. This was just my experience though so take it for what you will.Parking: Very small parking lot, can maybe fit 4 cars comfortably.Wheelchair accessibility: Coming in might not be a problem, but getting through to the seating area might be.Dietary restrictions: Everything is cooked on a flat top grill so cross contamination is highly likely for people with food allergies.
Unbelievable the food taste good but watching how filthy is this place you can not have a good experience, I wonder if they even get inspected!Food: 2/5
Incredible food and great service. The caldo de res, yucca frita, and pupusas are some of the best in the area ?Food: 5/5
Once I walked in, saw the kitchen and who was cooking. I knew this was going to be good (home cooking) . I had 3 pupusa and taste perfect. Inside looks like a restaurant from central America. FYI this place is not for the Basics and it has flavor.Food: 5/5
No vayan aquí!!! Don’t go here! I went there for the first time about a year ago and was very pleased with the food. But lately I’ve now ordered food for about 2 times for pick up and to begin with orders were not complete both times and the food was not it. The carne azada had a terrible taste, the baleada tortillas were store bought, not hand made like what it’s supposed to be? What? I couldn’t believe it, that’s what we pay for. And on top of that I asked the tajaditas with everything separate and it came woth everything on it when I asked them with everything separate. And it literally was a hand full of food when it was supposed to be more. They came soggy and I don’t like everything in them. Would never step a foot in this place again! Don’t recommend! No recomendado! I talked on the phone with the owner, mind you I spent $110 on food on this last order, she said come back and I’ll give you a full refund for the food… I get some of the food just to show her what I was talking about, she wasted my time and patience and only gave me a $40 refund, my family being so hungry had picked at some of the food and ate some of it. You want to make a customer happy make up for your mistakes, that’s all I say!
