I recently had the chance to dine at this restaurant. Since moving to McKinney, I've been on the lookout for delicious ethnic eateries with vegetarian options. This restaurant fit the bill perfectly. I placed my order and I highly recommend calling ahead to avoid a 20-minute wait, as mentioned in a previous review from September 11, 2021. View all feedback.

We ordered too much food, but everything was delicious. The staff was understanding of our vegan preferences, but it may be helpful to double check. We tried the dry manchurian (a must-try), a masala dosa (standard and tasty), mixed vegetable uttapam (amazing), pani puri (light and fun), and a vegetable curry. It was my friend's first time trying this type of Indian cuisine and he was really impressed. View all feedback.
Honestly, the food is awesome. A bit pricy but really yummy Indian food. We had Pav Bhaji. The quantity was good and the Bhaji consistency is really nice. Not watery. My personal favorite is dinner Punjabi thali. Completely fulfilling. The grilled sandwich is really nice.
Interesting concept with good food! As you walk in, you are greeted with warm decor reminding you of local Indian cuisines. The kitchen is visible and so is the honest commitment of the restaurant owner to use good quality foods and serve their customers. We ordered a few items to get a variety of tastings, but our favorite was the chat items: Dahi puri, Raj Kachori, and vada pav The bahubali sandwich was overwhelming with the ?processed cheese? toppings most commonly used in India. And the dosa Dabang rolls were interesting as well. Overall good food, it we will be back for the chat!
Dahi Puri was yummy! Very busy restaurant so that is how you know the food is good. Extremely fast service, the food was brought out to us one by one as it was prepared minutes after ordering. The staff was friendly and the food was reasonably priced. Lots to choose from their vegetarian menu. No outdoor seating.
Hands down the best dosa experience our family has had. The ambiance, cleanliness and atmosphere was awesome. A very lively and bumpy place. The place was so busy but amazingly the food comes out quick every time. Your greeted with a smile and leave with a bigger one. I discovered this place with the Mrs. and bright my kids two days later. Gotta try the PK Paneer king and their mango lassi is the best I?ve had. It?s gonna be tough passing this place up to go somewhere else for the dosa scene now.
Among the many Honest locations in the DFW area, this is so far the only one that has decent food. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Idli, Aloo Puri, Chole Bhature, Baahubali Sanwich, Dahi puri, and Mango Lassi. The sandwiches are amazing here. They are very fresh, not soggy, and have just the right amount of spice. We always love it. This time the bread was a little dry, and there was no spice. The aloo puri was very good, the aloo subji tasted exceptional. It?s a great dish for kids, and isn?t too spicy for them. The Chole on the other hand was terrible. The bhature were fine, but the Chole wasn?t. There was absolutely no salt, no spice, and extremely bland. Similarly with the Bhaji for the Pav Bhaji, which tasted better than the Chole. The dahi puri (not pictured) was by far the best dish of all of them. It was spicy, sweet, and tangy all at the same time. The flavors coming in from the combination is worth paying the exuberant amount. The idlis were good, no complaints there. The quality has definitely gone down from last year which is disappointing since this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. Hope they improve once again. Definitely worth a visit.
