Emporium Pies - McKinney

I absolutely adore this restaurant! We tried the delicious Smooth Operator Merry Berry Berry and indulged in the decadent Molten Snowman dessert.

Wow really excellent cake. also a very pleasant little cake shop with very friendly staff. loved the king of pies (sapple), drunkennuss (pecan), merry berry and snowball (cocook cream). we are looking forward to future visits!

You can't go wrong here. The pies are rich, flavorful, and delicious!

The slice of Lord of the Pies (Apple pie) was very good. I only wish that the pie had been served warm, not cold. The pies were ordered to go due to limited seating, but then we decided to stay when a table freed up. Not sure if that makes any difference. I tried a slice of The Nanners also and it was also very good. The pie crust on both was so good. Thick but not hard. Not soft and soggy either. The crust was just right.This friendly little place definitely deserves a return trip. I mean there are plenty more pies to try, and the menu changes with the seasons. That will keep me coming back for sure.

Got the peanut butter pie. It was good but I think I'll try the banana next time. The girl that took our order was very sweet. Good service goes a long way these days.
