What User doesn't like about El Vallarta:
I went to El Vallarta today ordered a taco salad. It tasted good but there was something gritty in it. I ate some of it but I threw the rest of it away. I don't know what was in the salad to make it gritty but I don't like grit in my taco salad. It had been a while since I last visited El Vallarta it will be a long while again. View all feedback.
There are 2 Mexican Restaurants in McKenzie. Between Maria's and El Val, my Fiancé I choose El Val EVERYTIME. Better Food, Better Prices, and the food always comes out fast. We Love the Staff! Bonus Points for Sunday Lunch Buffet!!
Mediocre at best. Does not compare to the El Vallarta in Paris!
Food was good as always!! Vegetarian options: Although I'm not vegan, I love the vegetarian fajitas.
Strange food, chalupa are a broken open taco shell. No meat inside. Nothing what you think of Mexican. Cheese sauce was more cheese water.
First time trying this spot and sorry to say we were not pleased.Got Nacho fajita with chicken, beef and shrimp( In which were 50 cents a piece)I love to support local and wish thus was a better experience. However, this was soupy. Nachos were completely soggy due to what I can assume was the cheese( if that what we will call that)Everything was like someone poured a glass of water over it.We drained our trays put some crunchy chips on top and said ok here goes. And that big nope for me.We dug out the shrimp that were crispy but edible.Sorry guys but you failed on this order. The only thing that was not soupy was the glob of sour cream on top.Maybe you watered down your cheese. I don't know but on to try Maria's next Mexican night. One day may try agsinBut Fajita Supreme or Nachos no thanks
