After my shift, I returned to the restaurant and spoke with the manager, who was extremely kind and understanding. She offered me various solutions to the issue. Mistakes happen, and I find that when the drive-thru line is long, it's often due to the customers, not the staff. Personally, I would never go through a drive-thru and ask for a list of every type of donut available, inquire about how something tastes, or place three separate orders. For that kind of interaction, I think it's better to go inside.

I'm literally asking you to do less work.
