Joe, the owner, treats us like family. The food is fantastic! We particularly love the breakfast, but everything on the menu is great. We even picked up some dishes to enjoy for our holiday dinner. The portions are generous! View all feedback.

Today was my first and last experience ordering from this restaurant. Although the pancakes looked fluffy and delicious, they turned out to be dry. The chicken tenders were overly breaded and had very little chicken in them. As for the omelette, it didn't resemble one at all; the filling was tasteless and spilled out, as if it had been merely scooped onto the cooked eggs. The worst part of the meal was the completely raw potatoes, which were inedible. Overall, I felt like I wasted $50. If I could have returned the food for a refund, I definitely would have. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the staff was friendly; otherwise, it was a total disappointment.
I decided to try a new place today, and I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is quite cozy, with nice carpeting and a clean atmosphere. The coffee was good, too. I ordered the hobo skillet, which came with peppers, onions, mushrooms, home fries, eggs, and cheese topped with sausage gravy. It was delicious, though I noticed that the onions and peppers were cut into large pieces while the home fries were in small cubes. The prices were moderate; I wouldn't call it a bargain for a smaller local diner. Just a heads-up, they do accept credit cards but charge a fee for using them. The restrooms were impeccably clean, and there's free parking available. I'm glad I tried it and might return to sample something else on the menu.
The best breakfast in Pittsburgh! Make sure to order the #2 and challenge yourself to finish the entire meal. It's not just reasonably priced, but you'll likely have leftovers to take home. This spot has become a favorite for my family.
I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but my experience changed when a new waitress started working there. She's rude and not very friendly towards customers. She often complains about not making enough money, but it's hard to understand why when she doesn't provide good service.
