Small town, homey vibe. Food is fresh and hot. Chimichanga tortilla shell softer than I prefer. The beans were pulverized to a silky smooth, creamy texture only suitable for eating with chips. The cheese dip is the perfect recipe mix. Meaning it was delivered to the table and was edible the whole time it was on the table. (No dried up hard bowl of cheese here! The chips are my favorite! What User doesn't like about Sticky Cactus:
This place is not my favorite. Ordered the sticky dip. Which was chicken and steak in cheese dip. Steak was unseasoned. Fatty and chewy. Chicken was bland as well. Unseasoned. Then ordered 1 beef taco and that was slightly better. Had the chicken fajita in the past. Just so bland. No seasoning. Steak quesadilla in past. I swear they don?t even put salt on the steak. Nothing has any seasoning or flavor in it. This is... View all feedback.
Desperately needs waiters and should not bother to open if you can't meet the needs of your patrons in a somewhat timely manner. No more than 20 patrons and one waiter with several kids standing around without a idea of what to do. We had to stop the guy cleaning off tables to get water refills and request to place a order after sitting 20 minutes. Then after 45 minutes plus we left with no food and no indication of when it was coming. We have eaten here before and the food was good but it is not worth waiting over a hour in a sparsely occupied place after driving 30 minutes to eat there.
The wait staff is way under staffed. It took forever to get service initially. They are much slower than most Mexican restaurants. The chicken and shrimp were fantastic. The steak was super tough. Aside from that, the food was good. The price was great! We will go back.
Food is fantastic, service is very friendly and you can see the hard work on all the faces I've seen. Overall great restaurant with a kind welcoming atmosphere, plenty of variable dishes paired with top notch service. Even when things seem down the owner himself will make an appearance to keep things up to standard!

Each bite super thin, super light, super crispy with a slight finish of buttery bliss at the end. Delicious. The waitress was just the right amount of attentive and not over kill. The price point: 1-chimichanga dinner, 1-cheese dip, 1-soda $20.47. If you are in the area give them a try.
