I have eaten at several Jamaican restaurants; however, Island Paradise is by far the best! My only disappointment was after I ate my food I was sad it was gone! Service was top notch! I will most definitely be a regular customer! View all feedback.
What Jay Young doesn't like about Island Paradise:
Mommy can't cook. I ordered the ackee and saltfish and it was full of grease made my stomach hurt bad. Makes me wonder does she cook like that at home or only at her restaurant with low integrity. Gave them a second try with an oxtail plate, I received very little gravy and like 4 oxtail. The daughter was very kind, but I don't think the energy nor optimism is there to continue to run the place. View all feedback.
Ugh bland, bland, bland! Once upon a time I believed this place was pretty decentHowever the food quality has decreased and so has the service.
Meh If you need to get your fix of Caribbean food, this location leaves something to be desired.
Straight no chaser: Nice spot from the outsideDark and a bit dreary on the insideSeemed reasonably clean tho Had the jerk chicken dinner.
First time here. Babe wanted chicken foot soup from the other Caribbean restaurant that is located at the other end of the Plaza but I decided to give this place a try. Let’s get into the P C’s for this spot:Pro’s:Very clean restaurantBeef patties were cook to perfectionDescent customer serviceNice reggae musicCon’sChicken soup was not freshChicken soup had no flavorDumpling in soup was too thickNo Mac and Cheese was availableJamaican Black Rum cake didn’t have that true rum kick.Overall, I really don’t think I will circle back to this spot.
Roti dryer than the Mojave...Absolutely NO Seasoning on the cabbage not even the basic salt and pepper! I'd be ashamed to sell this food to anybody! This cannot be Authentic Jamaican!!Food: 1/5
