As always, Golden Corral's food is great. It was a little crowded, but it was worth the trip.

On 04/06 I place an order online the 8 piece Bird Box to be pick up on 04/07; after arriving home I noticed that I didn’t get what I ordered. The 8 piece bird box is 2 wings 2 breasts 2 thighs 2 legs; My order had 1 breast NO WINGS 3 legs 5 thighs. I have ordered this 8 piece Bird Box before and the order has always been correct. WILL NEVER ORDER ONLINE EVER

The food was good, and the waitress we had was awesome, I wish I had remembered her name to give her a shout-out. The restaurant itself was filthy. When I arrived, it was not that busy, I was able to get my food, and the food areas were fairly clean. It got busy and there was food on the floor ground into the rug, whatever they were wiping the counters with smelled spoiled, half-made plates sitting near the food, young kids without parents making plates; the juice machine was broken. I did not make a second plate. The dessert area was just as nasty. Kids were getting pizza and using their hands to separate the slices; the restaurant seemed unsanitary. I wish there was a sign that said children under a certain age could only get food with a parent present and it was enforced, which would solve most of the problems. I had not been to a Golden Corral in a couple of years. I will not be going back any time soon, and if I do, it definitely will not be this location (Jonesboro Rd). Maybe I visited on a bad day.

Update 2024: The food and service was good. I 'm finding however, that I no longee feel as if I get my money 's worth OR better said, that I 'm paying too much for what we actually eat. I 'm going to try breakfast sometime soon, well in the near future.This location is my second favorite. It was amusing to see BBQ chicken backs and chopped mystery meat nestled in peppers and onions. It may have been chopped liver(? . I didn 't get up the nerve to try it. None of us did. The wings were good. And as always, the veggies were very good. I use the app, so this time around, my meal was free, or rather $10 off, which actually means I paid 6.99 plus the cost of the drinks and taxes.The app helps, but it 's no longer the best option for I don 't want to cook nights if you have kids over the age of 2. It 's $80 plus tax for a family of four adults. The app is good if you eat there often.The bathroom was very clean.
