Dairy Queen Grill Chill - McDonough

We recently welcomed a brand new Dairy Queen to Monticello, replacing the old one, but the friendly Southern charm in the service remains. Come on in and enjoy a meal!

The ice cream my family and I enjoy is always delicious. The service can be a bit slow, but it's definitely worth the wait. The staff always serves with a friendly smile.

The service was outstanding. However, the dining room was still closed. Unfortunately, the hot dogs weren't great; they tasted like they were microwaved. On the other hand, the burgers were fresh and delicious. I deducted a star due to the hot dogs and the overflowing trash in the parking lot. Additionally, they forgot to include the ice cream that was supposed to come with the kids' meal.

I visited just before closing time on June 26, 2022, and there was quite a long line. The service wasn't terrible, but when I received my ice cream, I discovered several strands of blonde hair mixed in with my food. Not one person in our car has blonde hair. Since I can't rate you a zero, I will have to give you one star.

I ordered the Alaskan Fish sandwich with fries and a Dr. Pepper, and I have to say, it was a fantastic sandwich—crispy and full of flavor. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 4-star rating is that I went through the drive-thru.
