Description

Kobi Jack's is a cozy wood-fired pizza and pasta wine bar in McCrae, on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Chef Kobi Watson, only seventeen when he opened the restaurant in February 2017, offers a menu of traditional Italian pastas made fresh daily in-house, wood-fired pizzas, and simple starters. Our seasonal menu highlights locally sourced ingredients and the joy of sharing food with loved ones.

Great staff and high quality food. These guys appreciate their customers

I made an online reservation for a Saturday night, but when I arrived with a group of 7 people, the entire restaurant was closed. I found it surprising in this day and age.

Previously at Kobi Jacks and the food was good, but the service left something to be desired. Ging again last week and the service was great! Had the set menu, everything was yum and it was great value for 45pp. Our waitress was beautiful!

We had a fantastic casual dinner at kobi jack's. The food was nice and very cheap. We live around the corner and will definitely be regular customers.

I couldn't find any faults with the restaurant - it was not noisy or cramped, and the food and service were excellent. Although there weren't enough meatballs left for a full serving, we were given the last two as a separate side dish with our main courses. This gesture only added to our enjoyment of the meal. We were so impressed that we decided to order a bottle of Phaedrus Pinot noir and even booked the same table for next Saturday night as we have friends visiting from out of town. The menu was simple but varied for different days of the week, and the cuisine was excellent at a reasonable price. We hope the restaurant doesn't raise its prices like other successful restaurants tend to do, as everyone has their tipping point. For example, we used to frequent the neighboring Merchant until they raised the price of a large takeaway latte to $5.20. Unfortunately, we no longer go there. We're excited to dine at Kobe Jacks next Saturday night!
