Description

A beloved family-run diner delivers chef-inspired breakfast and lunch favorites—standout bacon, avocado toast and French toast—at reasonable prices with outdoor seating and QR allergy info. The menu is well-presented and often packed with locals, though service can be uneven: attentive servers and warm atmosphere contrast occasional slow service, a rude host, forgotten takeout, and an automatic 22% gratuity that has frustrated patrons. Overall, it’s a charming community spot with excellent food and occasional service hiccups to be aware of.

Great food, but... you put a 22% tip on my bill! Since when is 22%the new standard? Everyone's gotten greedy. You automatically put more than 15 or 18, Im automatically putting 10% or less. Why? You're acting greedy towards me. This tipping culture is out of control. I don't support greedy establishments or greedy wait staff.

This place is definitely doing something right. It was packed. There was a wait. We tried the french toast and eggs benedict. The Hollandaise sauce had lemon. I found out I'm not a fan of lemon and eggs. (My 1st time having traditional Hollandaise) The french toast was excellent; even though, my husband would have liked 3 pieces instead of two LOL But, the food is chef-inspired, well presented. The price is what you would expect from the area. Our server was really friendly!

I got the eggs Benedict, which was a bit of a disappointment. The hollandaise had a very strong lemon taste, to the point that it was off-putting; I also think the baguette it was on did not work very well. The server seemed in a bit of a rush to get us out, though the restaurant didn't seem very full. The potatoes were good, as was the iced mint mocha (though it was pre-mixed so I couldn't order it decaf).

I went during lunch time on Sunday, and had “2 for you”. I chose Ham n Gruryere melt Super kale salad, and both were excellent! Reasonable price, but this place is really small and packed with so many people. I had hard time talking to my friend since the place was so loud. But other than that, I like this place, so I will definitely come back again, n eat here.
