We found Stacey Cakes to be a wonderful place to treat our sweet teeth. The apple crumb should die. Stacey's ginger cookies are sure to treat the best melt in your mouth. Coffee was very nice and the service was warm and friendly. View all feedback.
What Chris K doesn't like about Stacey Cakes:
Miserable service. Tried to order a cake. Same as their pre-made ones with a slight alteration of real cream cheese frosting, not the cheap buttercream. They said it wasn’t an option. So that tells me that either they don’t make their own cakes and get them premade from somewhere or they are the typical entitled food service establishments in MCCALL where they feel they can do anything they want and treat customers h... We look forward to Thursday, the first day of our holiday, in which Stacey Cakes was open. It is finally the highest rated restaurant on Trip Advisor. And now we were there twice and haven't tried everything yet! But everything we tried was excellent! Little cheesecake, quiche, knich, cake, cinnamon roll and tar. The only reason for the less than perfect assessment is that they gave me the wrong kind of knich and that they didn't whip cream for my hot chocolate (they had no one who was their explanation, even if they are next to a grocery store) and their menu panel specifically highlighted the picked cream. But I would still like to go back and try more goodies!
We had Stacey Cakes for our wedding. Everything looks and tastes amazing! We had hardly any remains because everything was a hit! We recommend it for every event! Try the Strawberry Rhabarb Pieces and the Huckleberry Cakecake! All right!
Good place for easy bakery! Although a little expensive and perhaps as a request make croissants. But also the food is good! Even if possible it would be nice to sugar-free options for those who do not consume sugar.
We got their mediterranean quiche, chocolate raspberry shortbread, cherry pie, lemon cream pie, and pecan sticky buns. The quiche and shortbread did not survive long enough for me to take a picture of, but believe me when I say they were the best shortbreads and quiches I have ever tasted. In fact, everything we got were the best things we have ever tasted. I like to bakery hop whenever I travel, and I’ve been to many of the highest rated bakeries in cities all across the US (NYC included) and few of them can hold a candle to Stacey Cakes. If you are in McCall, you have to stop at Stacey Cakes. You have to.
