Description

Panda Express is facing criticism for a noticeable decline in food quality and service efficiency at its southern Texas locations. Many patrons have expressed disappointment over smaller portion sizes and stale, flavorless meals. Despite the long lines wrapping around the building, customers often find limited menu options, especially close to closing time. There have also been complaints about inaccuracies in orders and a reluctance to provide condiments, such as the chili soy sauce. While some appreciate certain staff members and occasional tasty dishes, the overwhelming sentiment suggests that the experience has become increasingly frustrating and unenjoyable.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, although they don't have spicy shrimp. Overall, it's still a fantastic place to dine.

I ordered chicken teriyaki through the online app and specifically asked for the teriyaki sauce since it always seems to be forgotten and guess what no sauce. This is always a problem here. Oh but they put in alot of the other sauces that I didn't ask for.

20220212 Three weeks have past, since I have posted this complaint and no one from Panda Express has contacted me. I highly recommend that no one else eat at this terrible restaurant unless you may get sick. Please read on to find out how very bad my experience was. 20220121 Tasty food but that is not the only thing that I look for when I eat at a restaurant. What I believe is even more important is that I do not have digestive problems after eating a meal, which when I do could indicate any one or more of several things that was done wrong in the food procurement, preparation and display, which subsequently causes me to designate the meal as a bad food experience. As for the case with this Panda Express, I felt sick to my stomach shortly after I finished eating the food. Too, I was beset with a stomach cramp and afterwards, had to go to the bathroom with diarrhea. This is not something that I normally experience, but only happens when I have a bad food experience, which was the case with the meal that I purchased yesterday, 21 January 2022 at about 3:00 pm. Further, this was my first time to visit this restaurant and I was not aware of any special price charges. I had asked for the regular plate which comes with one side and two entries. Then, I asked what the entries are available for my plate and the server said any two of these and did a wide sweeping motion with his hand. I chose the beef with pepper and broccoli as my first and the teriyaki chicken as my second. When I arrived at the cashier, I was told that the meal would be ten dollars and some change. I question the cashier about why it was so much more than $8.60 that was shown on the sign above and behind the food. She said that I selected a premium item and was charged and extra $1.25. I responded to the that this is my first time eating here and I asked what came with the regular plate and it was indicated that all the entries did. The cashier brushed my complaint away by saying, That is Ok, your order is $10.66. Again, I said that I was not told about the extra charge for the beef entree, that I am upset about the bait and switch upcharge, and again she brushed the complaint away and said, $10.66 please. Three things infuriate me due to this visit to Panda Express: first, the meal was a bad food experience; second, according to the explanation from the server, I was overcharged for my meal; and third, the cashier was not interested in serving the customer, just getting the money. Finally, I will never eat in this Panda Express and will most likely ever enter another Panda Express ever again.

I went for lunch after a long day of work. Arrived an hour and a half before closing time and was told they only had fried rice left for the night, with only 3 options for entrées, none of which were what I wanted. I would have understood if it was near closing time, but there was still over an hour and a half left.
