good sushi with a variety of choices. the food was fresh and tasty and the service was fast. we started with the gyoza and ordered 4 sushi rolls between us (the favorite were the kalypso and the rock shrimp rolls), then with the Tempoura cheesecake. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kumori Sushi Teppanyaki Palms Crossing:
The service here is outstanding, and the rolls are fantastic. However, the management really needs to address the sewage smell. Attempting to mask it with cheap air fresheners only makes the situation worse. This issue has been ongoing for some time, and we had hoped it would have been resolved by now. Until it is taken care of, I cannot recommend dining in; takeout is the better option! View all feedback.
Hadn't been here in years. We took our daughter to celebrate her birthday. Most Plates were her choice which were great!Food: 5/5
Used to be one of my favorite sushi spots, but I came here for lunch recently and was just absolutely appalled by how downhill things have gone. Our server, Tomas, was barely around, barely said anything to us, never checked back in for refills or to ask us how our food was unless we made a fool of ourselves repeatedly trying to flag him down. But even worse than the service was the food, my sushi just fell apart all over my plate — worse it tasted like straight-up *chemicals*, and my girlfriend's teriyaki chicken bowl had barely any chicken at all.Wish I could say this place lived up to the experiences I've had here before, but recently its been all bad.
I've order from here before and it has been great but today the rock shrimp roll, looked like it was a left over order and was just given to me, the shrimp was very hard, and a shrimp tail was inside the roll also I was not given any sauces, normally I don't have to ask it is given with the order, but not this time. ???? not a good day for them.Parking: Number
I received a chicken teriyaki bowl, though I had clearly ordered beef a point my colleague can vouch for. But let 's set that aside. The main issue was that the chicken teriyaki bowl was heavy on rice, with minimal chicken portions that didn 't even equate to half a chicken breast. Similarly, the sushi was dominated by rice, falling short on protein and vegetables. If you 're a fan of rice centric dishes, this might be the place for you.
I really enjoyed this location. Had eaten at one in the mid-valley and wasn't too pleased, but this one was very delicious. Everything we ordered was super fresh. Our waiter was Hector, and he was very helpful in making our dining experience one to remember. Service was amazing. Had an opportunity to speak to the manager, and he also ensured our dining experience was a good one. Service was also fast, which helped us get out quickly to go on about our day. I only gave the atmosphere a 3 because I sat where the bar was and didn't really see the entire restaurant. Will definitely make this our new sushi spot ?
