recommend tacos callejeros are AMAZING, they taste so good and good price. Also the parrillada is genuine meat and many can dine with one. Our server Alex was really nice, attentive and has good recomending food. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Callejón De Los Milagros:
My experience with the staff is a 5-star rating, but the food and drinks are not. Avocado Margarita does not recommend. Then an original margarita was ordered and it wasn't good either. Definitely stay at La Costa next time View all feedback.
Good food excellent bar; had live music at night we were there. It was a little busy so the service suffered a little. Great place.
This is my second time visiting here. Today I enjoyed a Filete Zarandeado, it was delicious!! No regrets, the fish was cooked to perfection and the rice and veggies compliment it very nicely. The Tamarindo Margaritas are a must try as well!
You gotta love a restaurant with colorful murals! It is fun to read all the dichos y refranes while you wait for your food. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. We started with 'Queso Fundido con Chorizo ' (melted white cheese) as an appetizer. It really was delicious and the highlight of our lunch. The flour tortillas were good. The 'Parrillada Milagrosa ' dish (for 2 people) was a treat. It is a combination of beef and chicken fajitas with grilled cactus, sausage, onions, cheese, and avocado served with quesadillas, rice, and charro beans. I loved the charro beans! Unfortunately, they don 't have a good cocktail menu. I tried the Margarita with a Corona beer on it. In order for the beer to not tip over, you need to order it as a frozen Margarita (which I 'm not a fan of to begin with). I chose the lemon-flavored Margarita from the relatively large selection of flavors. It was tasteless. I don 't recommend it.
If you've never been to McAllen Texas, and you haven't visited this great food.. Every time I have been to their locations. IT NIE dissapoints...always made fresh to order large large authentic foods and alcoholic conjects.and staff quickly and friendly as you can ask for...prices are very fair compared to what u would expect to pay to Papasito's chain in San Antonio Texas...but this place with waaaay better food smart.... I was here at least 15 times... I'm rotating my restaurant restaurants... One day. Mike
This is the place that introduced me to Pulpo! It was a succulent, whole grilled ?, bursting with flavor. However, this time I ordered just the carnitas del pulpo, and it was over-cooked and tough. The waitress was super sweet, but service was extremely slow both times I've dined here. Not a plcae to go when you're in for a quick bite! With many open tables, the hostess didn't even acknowledge me when I entered, and took time to finish her cell phone activity before considering to seat me. Interior decor is aesthetically appeasing, with some cute Spanish quotes painted on the walls. There is outdoor seating available, and it's conveniently located in a strip with many other restaurants, and walking distance from hotels. I will try this place one more time, and perhaps update my review.
