This place is great! I went twice while I was there for a few days. The view can’t be beat and the food is delicious the guy owner was friendly but his staff of young women aren’t so much. They made us feel very unwelcomed. That’s enough for me to bring it down one star. Otherwise I’d give it 5!
They cover uncleaned shimps with mayonnaise.... How on earth is one supposed to eat it? Green veggies as an option for bowl is just salad. Cucumber is bitter. Food not made with love but frustration.
I get a bit annoyed when I’m sold orange juice from a box for the same price as the fresh orange juice you get anywhere else in Mazunte. To be clear: when customers ask for orange juice, they mean FRESHLY SQUEEZED.Also, does the music really have to be this loud?
Always loved it here. Looks great after reopening but menu can use some changing for legibility and accessibility. Will make more with easy-to-read menu that’s visually inviting; for example, the pasta section, it’s options for meat or no, and the seafood plates can use a better format explanation. Mezcal both tobalá and espadín good tasting but is not 45-55% alcohol (therefore not the authentic double distillation process) but good nonetheless. Plate arrived with smal amount of potatoes... probably less than a whole potato which I can buy and fry on my own for 1peso all good but you can do better guys. It’s Mazunte and quality matters in 2020 all the best to you guys, great and friendly staff!
Excellent service. The fish was fresh (dorado... The most common and probably one of the best fresh fish you will get at any restaurant along the Oaxacan coast). I had the pasta with fish in a spicy sauce. Also, they make the pasta here too and it was great and obviously the sauce is made here too and it was great and was mildly spicy. Enjoyed an Indio cerveza, not that great of a beer but whatever its Mexico. All good! Enjoy!
