The staff have been in place for years, and so have the chefs. They offer well seasoned Italian food, which includes delightful pastas. My personal favorite is the shrimp and pepperoni pizza. It is baked in a wood burning oven that provides a "special" flavor. The decor is upscale but the prives are moderate. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Villa Italia Las Cavas:
We should know better than to go to an italian restaurant in a mexican tourist town, but our friends have kids who were over going to all the great mexican places we've been trying on our trip. This place was terrible. The service was slow and awkward. Our pasta arrived tepid to cold, and it was another 15 mnutes before the pizzas arrived for the two people at the table who ordered them. The calamari was like chewing... View all feedback.
I wasn't very impressed by the court I ordered, missing a lot of taste. I'm not a cook, but I could have done much better at home or even in my hotel room. my friend was happy with her meal and it is taste.
If they are hungry and want to eat a great place. atmosphere, eating, service you have to stop here in the villa italia las cavas. the selection of food (all great) ranges from the salmon lasagne to experienced Italian food, the delicious pastas and pizza from garnelen and pfefferoni pizza. to the grundpizzeria. the personal makes this place. you come in once and the next time somehow the memory of you with name! opened at 11 o'clock.

Close to the heart of the golden zone--across from El Cid ..good flavorful italian food..We likie the antipasto tray with a shared fettuccini alfredo..enough for two people...and a nice wine list
The atmosphere at Villa Italia is high quality, selection of seating is varied, and you can go inside or outside. The menu is varied and some of their own dishes have found their way into the pages. My own particular favourite is Salmon lasagne which is totally delicious and inexpensive. The pizza is always of excellent quality, and the starters varied. I find an expresso coffee is the best way to finish the meal.parking is available at the El Cid Hotel, so no worries there at all. Definitely a must for Italian afecianados.
