Down Rafael Buelna away from the Golden Zone farther than most tourists will wander. And that's too bad. There are a lot...of GREAT restaurants out here waiting to be discovered, and this is one of them. Husband, sister and I out for a walk, stopped in for a bite. OMG good. Well that's an understatement. Now on my radar as a Must Return again next time. We were given tortilla chips (I can't recall if it were tostadas or not) and cucumbers, onions, and salsas. Nice change. We had 2 orders of steak, I had 1/2 of the baked potato, thinking my husband and I would share a little of each. My 1/2 potato was larger than any baked potato I've ever been served at a restaurant at home before and it was only a HALF. On top of it's size, this one was stuffed with butter, cheese, bacon and steak slices. Probably crema too. I didn't need to share my husband's steak dinner. I had my own steak on my potato. This was enough to fill me up. And it was DELICIOUS!!!! A whole potato would have been HUGE! His steak dinner came with salad and beans I think. Also freshly made tortillas. Again, simple yes, but Delicious. Not fancy, but who cares? That's not what this is all about. Good food is With corn tortillas and fresh veggies, I would think you would be fine with gluten free dining here. .
