The service and eating were some when the best we had here! its hidden stairs, has a terrace to eat or eat inside. he made our salsa at the table and wow it was good! you can make it from mild to hot, I loved it! we had someone who sang to everything, it was a great environment, loved it! we ate at 10 places all over the opposite. worth eating!

This must be some of the best food, service and gas friendship in mazatlan. gabriel made sure we took care of us well. jose made some of the best guacamole and salsa table page. it was delicious. the margaritas we are very good. The bacon wrapped garnels and the concordia were both excellent main courses. they will not leave here hungry or disappointed. highly recommended!

We went the other night for a birthday dinner. Food was excellent as was the service. We had a birthday girl with us and the staff put on quite the show. Thanks for more great memories in Mazatlan! We will be back for more, in...6 months, on our next trip.

Everything was great, Salsa made tableside was best ever! Server saved us money by suggesting we not order as many item we were considering based on his knowledge of portion size! Fish and Zavala stew was fantastic.

Four of us visited Los Zarapes, an upstairs restaurant, in Zona Dorado on a quiet Thursday night. There was only a few other tables – likely one reason we got amazing service! The menu was simple, Mexican, and delicious. First off, the margaritas were fresh...and delicious. First the mango, then the tamarind. (Note that the Tarmariind does not have a great smell, but it does have a great taste. We ordered some salsa and guacamole—of course. It’s the usual—but this was not usual. The waiter comes tableside with a little side table of 7 ingredients that he mixes in front of you with a mortar and pestle in a stone dish to make the freshest salsa you will ever taste. Then…he does the same with guacamole. They brought a bowl of avocado and sliced and diced it up right in front of us. It was a great show! We got theater and art before our full meal even arrived! Our appetizer was Fundido, which is chorizo and cheese that you wrap in a soft taco. Delish! The molcajetes Zarapes is a signature dish there—which comes in a big stone dish, like a soup, with a combination of chicken beef and shrimp with some cheese blocks and a spicy pepper. This is a big dish and will easily feed two people. My cariniodo (sp? was also a combination of chicken empanada, beef tips and onions (succulent! , two cheese quesadillas and bean soup. I could not eat it all. But it was fabulous. There was no room for dessert. Cost was 2250 pesos—included several drinks--and we literally brought over half our entrees home for tomorrow. There wasn’t a single thing I would not order again.
