I'm visiting la carreta a few times a month. I am the most picky person when it comes to eating everything, from aesthetics, taste and customer service. anesthetic: I pass through this taqueria every day. Not only that they clean at night, but they can...clean the cleaning in an hour to late afternoon when they open, as well as find through the hours of business. as they go in them will notice that all kitchen is stainless steel. everything is completely stowed and the whole dining room is a hose down. I have not seen at the corners where most places neglected because of the difficultities in cleaning. not sure if I can upload pictures after posting, but next time I will be sick, be sure to make a quick picture. so they can have a part of the understanding that the corresponding precautions are taken to protect their customers from any virus along the side-surface ceilings. they will also notice that there is a hand wash station available with the dinning room for every comfort. I find the handwashing station in the dinning room for everyone to see help, the people remember that their needs to wash their hands before eating it. Although, if they are not too good that on them. flavor: tacos are all inconspicuously delicious, full taste. a thing to consider before going into each meat shows some dinge. for beginners, the table is furnished with a decent amount of salses, from green, red, roasted, avocado along with a few others that each of 0 heat to about mild hot. I personally don't find any of them sharp, even though they warn you that are sharp. no spicy, but if they find a sharp one, then they have to spend more time eating salsa while here. another thing to consider is the tortilla they use, they will not like other tacos the tortillas are really thin. they give them 2 tortillas pro taco, but because they are so thin they fell as the tacos are only with one. this is perfection for me because they don't taste the meat the tortilla. thick tortillas takes away from tacos taste. but be not stupid, just because they are thin, does not mean that they break, they hug the flesh and all salsa that they add perfectly. asada: it is really tasteful, they taste the taste that they only get from a bottom right charcoal/wood grill. the flesh on a scale of 1-10 on vigilance was about a 7, on tenderness or softness around a 6. once I got like a cream so I get a bit hard bite. the spice was a little on the salty side, but after adding salsa the taste has balanced. al pastor: it is not what they find in the northern part of mexico. I was corrected because I thought al pastor was like adobada. Although both are cooked on the spinnboard, they use different types of chilies. in baja california they find adobada what I was used to. the one they find here is al pastor, which, although some, which is similar to the taste is distinctly different. best I can describe it when adobada was cooked with sweet grilled swirls. defines a taste profile that you have to experience in your life. but if you don't like to swirl, I don't understand why you didn't want to skip this meat. However, the grilled twill taste together with its perfectly smoky chili will leave after taste on any case they want more. the meat because of the type of fire they use has a light crispy outer taste combined with a deep juicy core makes it a complete winner in my book. darm: squeam still? relax my American friends, live a little. honestly probably my second favorite taco here. they heat the darm and grill it. they get a creamy and perfectly crispy texture to taco. if they are any type of duck pate, or boiled liver pate, well the texture and creamy taste best resembles a pate. now they grill them in the coal, and they have only a crispy experience that I can best describe as a chicharon (fresh fat pork grind.) I say I live a little, eat outside the box when in mazatlan like a mazatleco. recommend this taco. cabeza: literal “head” in spanish brings me to my number 1 favorite taco here. cabeza can be found a mix of different types of meat on a cowhead, including wong, gut, aug apple, and if desired brain. rest easy, haha add its non-defined brain here. haha, however, I have found that it is mostly only flesh of the muscles around the head of a cow, braut, until they fall from the skull. the intense fat taste meets every single pleasure note in my mouth give me a food gasm after every bit. Simply amazing combination of meat damped to perfection. my choice. if my name was a taco, it is taco de cabeza. because of this taco alone I decided to write a review. hahaha. tongue: these are my 3rd favorites. it is cortex, which has been braided slowly and damped for the determination of softness. the texture is not for everyone. but his heaven for me. a decadent soft creamy texture resembled a fleshy textured flan without the sweet. I'm sorry, but I can't think of anything else to compare the texture with. if properly cooked, it should melt extremely in its mouth soft with an extremely high moisture content. it is really hard to get it right, more often than not they will notice that the bottom is hard and chewing. but here its perfect, simply perfect and cost only a little more than the other tacos. but the few pesos are worth a try. Overall: la carreta has been here for over 40 years and since then the same peculiarities. with more than 40 years of experience and a few years 5 stars tripadvisor reviews they will notice that if they are looking for a culinary taste taco experience, I recommend them stop young here. either they will eat tacos all trip, could also have some tacos that forever their taco bar, high. enjoy my friends.
This streetcar that is stored in the restaurant is just as clean as an operating room. was here last year and year ago and this year in the januar, just about a year between visiting and the al pastor knife had two on a teller ready for me before I sat. Normally remembering are no Mexican waiter appetizers, but the cook has stunned me with his memory. great tasting tacos quite similar in the taste of the best on basillo badillo road in puerto Vallarta...Bringing two new people tonight who should be quite satisfied, whether they are a little insecure.
