Good food, drinks and service especially when you are looking for a quick lunch or snack.I found the coffee to be quite good here although like so many restaurants in Mazatlan actual coffee cream was not an option.

The old Molika Bakery had been one of our favorites so we have watched their move to new location and new name with interest. We stopped in for a latte and discovered a breakfast minu that was so interesting we had to stay and order. The food was great-probably our new favorite. I might add to a previous posting-there seemed to be a bit of back slapping and snoozing with what appeared to be regular clients, thus causing my wife and I be left out somewhat.

Hector Peniche has created a unique culinary experience in Mazatlan. Under one roof he has two excellent restaurants; Hector's Bistro and Krema. But that's not all. You can also purchase freshly baked sour dough bread and pastries, flash frozen seafood, fresh vegetables, and many general grocery store items. It is a one stop shopping experience. What distinguishes Hector's Bistro and Krema from most other restaurants in Mazatlan is Hector's relentless drive for a quality meal served at a reasonable price. This isn't a fine dining experience. Hector makes no pretense to that. However, his menu is imaginative and expansive. It runs the gamut from prime rib to sandwiches; pizzas to salads; and desserts. Oh, and did I mention he has a full bar with a large selection of liquor, wine and craft beers? A discerning diner might ask how can Hector do all of this and do it well. The answer is Hector's passion for excellence and his training as a professional chef in Europe and Mexico. Finally, Hector is very approachable and one of the funniest people I've ever spoken to. No worries if your Spanish isn't up snuff. He and rest of his staff are bilingual. Don't miss Krema or Hector's Bistro on your next trip to Mazatlan. You won't be disappointed.

Went back multiple times during my stay to this great spot. Nice shaded tables along the street side or space indoors for when it's getting too hot. Very clean and reasonable prices, friendly, English speaking wait staff. I had the English breakfast - lots of food for just 85 pesos! They even had their own home-made ketchup that was delicious! Yum!

We were looking for Molika Bakery, but stumbled across Krema which apparently is the new Molika as the owner has closed Molika and opened Krema as well as Hector's. We arrived at 12:15 when brkfst svc was over but they graciously allowed us to order from both bkfst and lunch menus. We had the English breakfast with a bonus of grilled Portobello mushrooms and the steak sandwich with carmelized onions, gouda cheese and a balsamic salad ...both were delicious. The sandwich came with a fresh sundried tomato that was so memorable and delightful! We sat outside under and enjoyed every moment. They also have a n organic vegetable market and you can watch as your food is prepared through the window.
