Gus gus Marina is only open for lunch and closes at 5:PM .Located on the pier in Isla Marina Mazatlan, it has a wonderfull view. The food is tasty and abondan. The prices are fairly reasonable. We had luch there on July 18 2017. Very nice large hamburger, excellent Guacamole and very good tacos with smoked Marlin. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gus Y Gus Marina:
Our lunch at Gus Y Gus had one hit and one miss. The location is very nice with a great view of the Marina. The order of tostadas was very good. My order of Gus Gus shrimp and coconut shrimp was disappointing. It was obvious they had been prepared the night before and reheated for lunch. Flavor was ok, but presentation not so much. My wife and I have often eaten here and in 2017 there were 5 stars. Yesterday morning we took 9 family members there for a late breakfast, at 10 arriving. we waited for almost 20 minutes on menus and another 10 for a...nonchalant server to take our orders. then the real one started waiting. 40 minutes. 3 of us liked what was served us all were disappointed, some more than others. I ordered a combination of iron (by simple) hash brew and pancakes. the eggs were overcooked and a knife had to cut the pancakes. we had to ask for coffee refills and water, twice. one of our children cried quietly from hunger and had to ask twice for brot or tortilla chips to calm down little elian. the atmosphere is very beautiful, it is a scandal that the quality of food and service has gone down in this dimension.
Today my lady friends and I had a nice lunch in gusgus on the Mazatlan marina. we were treated to a VIP table with service. between the uuh’s and the gums we were thrilled by our garnels and the view of the marina. thanks to our fun and friendly staff!
Gus y Gus Marina consistently delivers decent food, good service, and fair prices with a great view of of the marina. This isn't easy to find in Mazatlan restaurants. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, not enough dinner business these days. Still better...than a lot of Mazatlan restaurants. The Manager was very warm and welcoming, spoke perfect English, seemed to care, no b.s..We'll be back!

We had breakfast at this restaurant yesterday, two had had huevos rancheros and I had the chilaquiles with Machaca with eggs, which is beef that has been marinated, cooked, shredded and then dried. I can honestly say it is the best Mexican food on the...New Marina and priced very well. The restaurant is very clean with nice bathrooms. The staff is friendly and speaks English. It is a very nice place and it’s well worth a visit
