Need to make a reservation for this evening restaurant part of El Cid Castillo all inclusive. Nice ambiance with live piano player. Food was reasonable. Located on 3rd floor. Need to walk behind the lobby bar and take elevator or stairs one floor up. Good place to celebrate birthday since the piano player can sing happy birthday as well as staff bring a slice of cake with happy birthday written on plate. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Alcazar:
This is an Italian restaurant, but I made the mistake of ordering a rib eye. It couldn't have been more than one quarter in. Thick, and was dry, even though I ordered it medium. My husband had ravioli with alfredo sauce, but it was more like soup. The sauce was very thin, and deep enough that the ravioli floated in it. Not tasty. Would not revisit. View all feedback.
Still the best at el cid, although they are temporarily located at another place until the remodel ende november is completed. ivan has a great crew, and they need additional work to get the meals from the kitchen down. their hard work pays off the service they offer. rubin is such a predominant with its consent that few restaurants can reach.
Always a great place to eat. good atmosphere, good food and good service. one of the first places we always go to when we travel to el cid. will be delighted that a new menu is on the way.
Maybe we caught them on a bad day. We went to every restaurant on el cid resort. This is only one we never tried again. All 3 kids didn’t like the pizza at all. Wife and I had the lasagna, it tasted like freezer burnt...meat and noodles... nothing more. Wife barely touched hers and I ate most of mine since was embarrassing wasting all that food. Heard great things about the place, it just wasn’t what we experienced.
Beautiful restaurant. The lasagna was really good. My daughter had the pizza and did not like it. I had the spaghetti bolognese and it was good.
