Went there for lunch with friends. The food was excellent, a very large choice, well cooked and well presented. The plates were piping hot, and each dish had candle warmers to keep it hot during the meal. The service was very efficient and friendly, and there was no pressure to leave after the meal, which we have experienced with other Indian restaurants on Camposol. The prices are also very reasonable. View all feedback.

Been here lots of times, always very good but now somethings in the water. Three different curries ordered, chicken, kema and lamb but they all came out the same. Same colour, same taste, same strength yes all the same. It's not good enough, come on get the cook book out and start again. The starters were very good, sorry but you need to up your game. Went out for the most delightful meal this evening with family..... the food was absolutely amazing, even my son whom is very fussy enjoyed the butter chicken and now will not eat it at any other restaurant.... the staff are lovely and friendly, great atmosphere and the set meal price is very very reasonable....will most definitely be returning and is the best Indian by far on camposol... thank you so much for making us feel so welcome...10 out of 10.
A few weeks ago we had a good sit down meal at Gateway to India at Camposol 'A ' after their renaming the restaurant , so recommended to our friends we get last nights Take Away from there ..... We wont be doing that again! The two front of House staff were so rushed off their feet managing the Bar as well despite their only being 12 tables occupied that there was a lack of attention to detail. We had driven over from Sector 'D ' and when we arrived home to find the Chicken Tikka Masala was a dry standard Chicken tikka cooked separately with a separate Masala Sauce that was so spicy Hot my wife could not eat it, my friends Bhuna was runny and lacked the usual Bhuna ingredients, the Poppadum 's we ordered were not in the Order despite the two dips being included. Whilst I enjoy a Flavoursome dish I have never been served a Madras that peels the skin from your mouth until last night. The cost of a Take Away from here is priced the same as a sit down meal and unlike their competitors there is no complimentary bottle of wine with meals over 25 Euros. The Management need to ensure their pricing is in keeping with a Take Away Service as opposed to putting profit above Customer Satisfaction/Expectation maybe offer a separate TA Menu and the food preparation leaving the kitchen needs to be Indian Food for the International Palette . The lack of Management airs on the side of arrogance as Camposol is a captive audience but it is the residents of Camposol who can make or break a restaurant in the Winter months trade. Do not waste your money at this establishment when there are far better on Camposol Sector 'B '
We went to the other gateway to India restaurant near mojaca and my friend got an apparent in camposol. We was so excited to see another gateway to India here as the food was so nice. We confirmed that they were the same owners and we had a amazing meal and was delighted by how big the new restaurant was and pretty. Thank you for having us we will be back soon
In a recent stay in Camposol we tried Gateway to India for a family takeaway. We ordered enough for 2 adults and 4 children and everyone was delighted with the food. 3 Chicken Tikka Masala, 1 Aloo Gobi, 1 Chana Masala, 4 pilau rice and 2 garlic nans. Lovely. Generous portions of all dishes and the chicken was lovely. Definitely recommend, and will definitely return for a family sit-down when next staying in the area.
