Seems to be newish. Limited menu, with the food generally well cooked and presented, but used cheap pizza mozzarella instead of the real thing in the caprese salad. Reasonable prices. Excellent wide range of wines – many of top quality (with prices to match). Above the Art Cafe and Wine Bar, on the corner of Corso Umberto and Via T. Gaspare Romano. Closed Monday. We visited the town on a damp February day. At lunchtime, most restaurants seemed closed, and the high street was deserted. However, we saw a sign for a Menu Fisso for E10 outside the Il Saraceno, and were the first people in the place. We had a Sicilian pasta dish with mussels and beans, followed by a delightful tuna steak with fresh green salad. Just right! The place soon began to fill up.
